Project Summary

River Rock Casino Resort is a major hospitality and entertainment destination located at 8811 River Road in Richmond, British Columbia, designed by Randy Knill Architect and built by Colter Developments. The project’s distinctive West Coast lodge architecture — heavy timber framing, gabled rooflines, and stone-base detailing — defines the resort’s exterior character along the Fraser River.

Vision West supplied and installed the original glazing scope for the main hotel and casino, including the dramatic gabled feature curtainwall over the main entry, the porte-cochère storefront, and the broader exterior glazing package across the resort’s principal volumes.

In 2006, Vision West received the VRCA Awards of Excellence Trade Contractor President’s Silver Award for the project, recognizing the company’s exceptional attention to quality, teamwork, problem solving, and innovation on what remains one of the most architecturally distinctive hospitality projects in the Lower Mainland.
