Design Coordination

We support the development of glazing and aluminum systems by working alongside architects, consultants, and project teams to translate design intent into buildable, high-performing assemblies. Our role is focused on technical façade and system design—ensuring what is drawn can be delivered, performs as intended, and integrates cleanly with the building.

System Development

We develop glazing and aluminum systems in response to each project’s specific requirements, refining curtain wall, window wall, storefront, railings, and custom assemblies to align with performance, constructability, and budget. Drawing on decades of combined experience, we bring practical insight into what works well—and what is likely to create issues over time.

Detailing & Shop Drawings

Our team produces detailed shop drawings and system layouts that guide fabrication and installation. Clear, coordinated detailing helps resolve conditions early and reduces ambiguity as projects move forward.

BIM & Coordination

We work within 3D modeling and BIM environments to coordinate glazing and aluminum systems with structural, architectural, and building envelope components. This allows for early identification of conflicts and more efficient integration across trades.

Interface Design

Particular attention is given to how systems connect with adjacent materials, including structure, cladding, and waterproofing. These transition points are critical to long-term performance and are addressed in detail during the design phase.

Performance & Durability

Design decisions are informed by performance requirements, including thermal efficiency, structural loading, and resistance to air and water infiltration. Just as importantly, we consider durability—selecting systems and detailing approaches that are proven to perform in British Columbia’s climate and continue to function reliably years and decades after installation.

A Technical Partner

As part of a design-assist or design-build approach, we work closely with the prime consultant team to support informed decision-making throughout design development. By combining technical expertise with fabrication and installation knowledge, we help ensure that what is designed can be delivered reliably in the field and continue to perform long after the project is complete.
